I've been into a lot of arguments with my girl for few days. I don't know why, we just argue even on small matters. It is really tiring me. But we keep it in control as much as possible as it is a difficult time in our relationship. I went to klcc with my girl...i have a team dinner organized by my project manager. Chilli's is the venue. Ordered my favorite "mushroom jack" and bottomless ice lemon tea. I didn't stay long at chilli's as i'm eager to walk with my girl. Before i went to chilli's i went to samsungOlympic roadshow to see their handphones. I grown to like samsung due to its sleek designs and features. Not bad for korean product!
After my dinner, i rendezvous with my at samsung booth...i ask the representative on G600 series phone. I did not ask a lot on specs. I don't compare with other phones. Since my 1st choice F400 is still not released. go for my 2nd choice which is the G600. Oh my...even though i didn't look at the specs...i do trust the specs is great...its a multimedia phone. Several specs features are 5MP Camera, 512MB Transflash and blabla bla...then...then i just pause...seeing the phone...the representative saw my expression as if i was thinking of not buying...then he said to me... Samsung Guy: If you buy now...i give you a canon printer worth RM800 as a gift Me: Sure ah RM800?? (It looks to me the printer worth RM300) Samsung Guy: Encik, i'm serious, this is mobile picture printer. Good printer... Me: Emm...Hun, do u think i should buy the phone? My Girl: Go ahead...up to u, i know u wanted a new phone for a long time already... Me: Yeah..i think i should...Ok...wrap it up...i want to buy this phone... Samsung Guy: Alright...i give u free bag as well...
I have to go to Best Denki to make the payment...after settling the buying process...the samsung guy said to me that i'm eligible for the contest and i should enter it...At first i was reluctant since i know i have never won a contest before...but...heck...it could be fun...so i entered the contest. So i have one challenger...i stand on the stage with the MC and asked to choose an envelope. At first i wanted to choose number 2 envelope but the other guy chose it first...i picked number 5 envelope.
We have to answer 5 questions, if able to answer all 5 questions, grand price of an unreleased phone worth RM2k++ will be given.
So my challenger starts first. MC: Ok sir, what is samsung model that waterproof and shockproof? Challenger: Err...emm...M680???? MC: I'm sorry...it is incorrect...
He gets eliminated immediately...so it all up to me...in my head saying "thank god i didn't choose envelope number 2...tough question!
MC: Ok sir...i will open the envelop that u chose...now the 1st questions...where is samsung originated from? Me: South Korea

Now this is really a killer question...i'm not a football fan...my challenger was shouting...MU MU MU!!!!....and my girl is hinting CHELSEA!...i was confused...which to believe? MU or Chelsea?...and then it struck me...i look at girl's face that she was really confident about it and insist i said Chelsea...i believe her...and i answer

Now...imagine that...the first contest i ever won...all thanks to my girl...if she hadn't given me the answer...i wouldn't have won...funny, my girl knows more about football than me...LoL! As we talked to the samsung's people, they had no confidence that i could won since the questions i chose are a bit tricky...they said that 1 of the envelops contains super easy questions...but i was able to won on the toughest questions given...I look at my girl and said...
I pretty much bored in the office...i have nothing to do...since i have tendered my resignation. Task stops flowing onto my desk. Thus all i do is surfing the internet and crap with colleagues.
I have done my project presentation. So there is no assignments pending except preparing examinations.
Feel like, whats the point going to the office--i have nothing to do...better let me serve my notice period at home rest...yesterday i did not come to work purposely...haih...

Yesterday i went out the whole day...i didn't do a single task nor work...browsing the internet from 8 til 11...by 11.30 i went out to get few personal things done. Yep, i'm going out to see "Tok Imam" in my province area to get his approval for my marriage application. Nak kahwin pun kena mintak kebenaran..ntah ape-ape. On top of that i have to bring 2 witnesses to prove i'm really single. Upon reaching to the mosque where the imam office is, i was trying to look for him...but no where to be found. Called him up and set an appointment.
Both of the 2 witnesses are hungry as it is already 1pm...we went across the street opposite the mosque to have lunch. Upon finishing lunch, storm suddenly appear. Haiyoh...we stuck there for 2 hours. around 3pm, the imam called me back
Ust.: Weh mana kau? Me: Just across the street la ust. opposite the mosque. Ust: Nak dtg tak? Me: I want to la ust. but its raining heavily...] Ust: Naik kereta ler. Me: Er...we park our car the mosque parking area...impossible to get there... Ust: Aku nak balik ni...nanti ASAR dtg jumpa ler Me: Ust. how about we come to your house Ust: Tau ke umah aku kat mana? Me: I know...don't worry...we'll be there...
3.30pm, the still pouring heavily...so decided to ran to the car went to the ust. house...upon reaching there, he greeted us in and took my application for approval...it is a simple process and he quickly approved it without any questions or interview as it already been a normal procedures.
Ust: Ust. ni sempoi...malas nak tanya pasal ilmu agama. Seba ust. percaya yang kamu dah tahu...kamu pegi kursus kahwin kan? Me: Ye. Ust: Do u know this guy? Witness 1: Yes...his my cousin Witness 2: Yes Ust: Bak sini IC... Witness 1: Here u go Witness 2: Alamak...lupa bawak IC ler Ust: Takpe...no problem.
Witness 2 trying to pull a prank on me. Actually he brought his IC. Since the ust. doesn't mind, his prank failed miserably. HAHAHAHA...I reached office around 4pm. Half of working time spend outside. My boss doesn't mind.
Now, getronics is counter offered me yesterday. But i declined the offer today after a careful consideration on few factors.
They should've done something early and not after i told Euan.
They should counter offer and absorb when the problem is still at the early stage.
I honor the job offer i received.
Taking counter offer will lowers my integrity as a trustworthy person and gave an implication that i can be easily bought over with money.
The counter offer is a contract basis employment with annual renewal program as the new job offer is a permanent employment. In this i look for job security not job hanging by the decision of the client.
I could learn more in the new company as they already planned my task and it is pure SDLC documentation tasking.
The hiring manager trusted and have confidence towards my ability.
I believe god determine my "rezeki"...
I could be a greedy bastard as the counter offer is very high and i could own a Lancer 2.0GT easily. But hey, why be greedy...if god permits...i could own it in the future...cheers

Just imagine the reaction of my agency owner...how it kills me to see that motherfucker face when i tendered my resignation. Yesterday all of the bosses from UK and US for IT Services came down KL to have a conference in Prince Hotel. So it is a right opportunity to highlight the problem i'm facing...

This morning Yong said that yesterday he had a meeting with Monkey...It is decided that Monkey's business contract will be terminated after few legal issue resolved...and those working under him will be absorbed into getronics...leaving him dry...now i'm not done yet...let's take some legal issue into the matter...i will go to EPF to file a report...
